BACTERIAL BIOREMEDIATION

Bioremediation is defined as:
the degradation or metabolism of contamination by microorganisms that have the capability of utilizing the organic compounds as an energy or carbon source. Organic contamination is assimilated into new cell mass and mineralized to innocuous end products CO2 and H2O.

Terratechnik Environmental specializes in bioremediation of industrial wastes including bacterial bioremediation of fuel oil from spills and leaking underground storage tanks (USTs) and bioremediation of chlorinated solvent contamination for complete environmental remediation in groundwater and soils.
