Barry Harris - President/CEO (vCard)

Barry qualified in England and obtained a Royal Charter in construction before immigrating to Canada in 1982. On arrival Barry worked as Senior Project Manager for Construction companies in Alberta and Ontario where he was responsible for the construction of some of the most high profile buildings in Canada. He was also responsible in his role as Director of Development for an international Mall Owner for the construction of conceptual Malls in both Canada and the United States.

In 1996 Barry brought his construction and development experience together for the formation of Terratechnik Environmental Ltd. and assembled a team of professionals with experience in the latest remediation technologies and methods. Barry’s vision is to provide to the development community a reliable partner for the remediation and development of sites that are thought to be unusable because of contamination issues and to revitalize urban communities.

Jean-Pierre Francois - VP Environmental (vCard)

Mr. François is experienced in design, management and implementation of environmental remediation projects involving soils and groundwater. Jean-Pierre responsible for insuring all essential personnel and equipment are available and coordinated to complete the remediation objectives in the timeliest and most cost-effective manner. As a former Environmental Consultant Mr. François performed numerous subsurface investigation projects across Ontario and is competent in the interpretation of glacial soils and investigation of soil and groundwater contaminants.  He is familiar with the regulatory framework commonly applied in Ontario and has investigated a variety of contaminant problems.

George Koutsokeris - VP Civil Construction (vCard)
George has over 20 years’ Experience in the Construction industry. He brings a wealth of knowledge from the management aspect of the industry as well as the field. He has Developed and designed new strategies and environmentally cautious programs for construction practices, implementations of corporate standards to improve both design and construction. George has completed many multimillion dollar projects from Park Development to High Rise Construction in both the federal and municipal sectors. Highly familiar with the planning, designing and construction of civil projects. George is accountable for the Civil Division of the company.

Kyle Dacey - Manager of Technical Services (vCard)

Mr. Dacey has more than 15 years experience as an applied researcher and analyst, in private R&D and production laboratories, as well as in the design, implementation, and management of environmental remediation projects involving soils and groundwater. In this role, he collaborates with clients and colleagues for the development of innovative in-situ and ex-situ remediation programs. Mr. Dacey is also responsible for securing appropriate permits and approvals from various levels of governments to ensure compliance with all applicable environmental Acts & Regulations. He is then responsible for implementation of the developed remediation plans in accordance with associated budgets and timelines.

Aaron Harris - Project Manager / Health & Safety Officer (vCard)

Aaron compiles plans and reports for safety policies. His continual audits of safe working practices in addition to interfacing daily with staff ensure that these policies are implemented. In addition, he is experienced in occupational health and safety procedures. Through continuing education, Aaron is positioning Terratechnik to be a leader in workplace safety.

Kim Hobbs - Estimator; Environmental (vCard)

Kim has considerable logistics and supervision experience in the implementation of numerous soil and groundwater remediation projects. These environmental remediation projects involve the treatment of both organic and inorganic contamination. responsibilities as Senior Project Coordinator are to ensure that all necessary infrastructures are in place to enable the timely, cost effective and professional completion of all projects.  Her project management commitment includes coordination of equipment and personnel as well as consultation with the parties involved to facilitate in the achievement of the required remediation goals.

Joe Pillitteri - Project Manager (vCard)
Mr Pillitteri has considerable logistics and supervision experience in the overseeing of municipal and private construction projects in the environmental remediation, parks and the land development sector. Mr Pillitteri’s responsibilities at Terratechnik Environmental range from the management of all aspects of civil and municipal projects, including scheduling of equipment and personnel based on project scope and need, project layouts and grade verifications. Mr Pillitteri works directly and liaises with site supervisors, municipalities and consultants to implement design changes in a timely and cost effective manner. Mr Pillitteri achieves desired results by planning, developing, implementing and executing various projects with measurable goals and objectives from initial consulting to completion.
