ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION POLICY

Terratechnik Environmental Limited (TTK) is committed to the protection of the environment throughout all aspects of its operations. We recognize that due to the scale and scope of our operations, impacts to the environment are occasionally unavoidable. Terratechnik pledges responsibility to act in the most environmentally sustainable fashion based on the following principles:

To put forth the best efforts to reduce negative impacts on the environment
To effectively mitigate any environmental impacts caused in our operations
To conserve natural resources through reduction and the utilization of alternative energy sources whenever possible

In order to achieve these principles, Terratechnik pledges to take all reasonable measures to meet the following environmental protection objectives:

Minimize polluting emissions into water, soil and air
Minimize odour, noise and vibration pollution
Minimize erosion and sediment loss
Meet and whenever possible, exceed environmental regulations, standards, and guidelines
Protection of wildlife and vegetation
Preservation of cultural resources
Minimize waste generation by recycling, reduction, and re-use
Efficient management of utilities to reduce water and energy use

The above principles are implemented by Terratechnik on a project specific basis and are incorporated into site-specific Environmental Protection Plans which include, but are not limited to:

The conduction of extensive environmental monitoring programs on all projects where polluting emissions are possible
Efficiently and expertly remediating any polluting emissions identified in the monitoring programs as directed by the appropriate regulatory bodies
Extensive training for employees
Implementation of a spills program and procedures
Conduction of good housekeeping strategies on all project sites
