HEALTH AND SAFETY COMMITMENT

Our focus and dedication to health and workplace safety is a priority with no excuses, our safety committees, our extensive training programs, our strict policies and plans, and our skilled in house response team prove it.

SAFETY FIRST ATTITUDE

Terratechnik is an environmental contractor that prides itself in its dedication to workplace safety in all aspects of our environmental remediation operations. We take all possible steps to ensure that the proper health and safety measures and precautions are taken, and all proper protective equipment is available for our staff on every project, large or small. Our goal is to ensure the protection, health, and safety of our employees and the public at all times. It is the right and duty of our employees to maintain a safe working environment.

Where applicable, our employees have completed the following training programs and courses:

  • WHMIS
  • Standard First Aid with level A CPR
  • Fall Arrest
  • Confined Space Training
  • Propane Handling
  • Scissor Lift Training
  • Petroleum Mechanics Licence
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods

HEALTH AND SAFETY OFFICER (Aaron Harris)

Terratechnik also employs a Health and Safety Officer which has completed his certification 1 training. He is responsible for confirming proper safety measures are being taken at the workplace, fielding employee concerns, and liaising with upper management.

CERTIFIED SAFETY INSTRUCTORS

Terratechnik also employs our own in house St. John Ambulance certified first aid instructor, and STS certified WHMIS instructor. We also have a Corporate Health and Safety Policy, including site specific Health and Safety Plans. We encourage you to contact Aaron Harris, our Health and Safety Officer.
