| In-situ chemical oxidation and soil washing to treat hyrocarbon contaminated soil and groundwater beneath a large industrial complex in, Etobicoke, Ontario An industrial site with extensive hydrocarbon contamination found beneath the warehouses to a depth of three meters and below both in soil and groundwater. A groundwater extraction system has been installed to remove free product and groundwater contamination. An extensive injection system utilizing In-Situ Chemical Oxidation as well as Surfactant Flushing is currently in operation simultaneously with an the extraction system to physically remove and breakdown contamination from the subsurface. |
